Lauren + Kyle Wilmington Engagement Session

Lauren + Kyle

Downtown Wilmington and

Wrightsville Beach Engagement Session

I’ve had the pleasure of working with this beautiful lady several times over the last year and I am obsessed with every session we’ve photographed together. So when Lauren reached out to me and said Kyle had proposed, I literally jumped up and down with excitement because y’all, these two were meant for each other!

Kyle and Lauren met in 6th grade and quickly became best friends all the way through High School. They spent countless days riding around, singing at the top of their lungs and talking about what the future might hold. They attended family functions together and their families would joke that they would end up together. Although they laughed it off at the time, they had no idea what life had in store for them. They’ve supported each other through all of their dreams including when Lauren started nursing school. One night after class, Kyle met Lauren at the college and told her he had a song she just had to hear. It was the “Greatest Love Story” by LANCO and Lauren says this is the most accurate way she can describe their relationship. It was always Kyle for her and now she gets to MARRY HER BEST FRIEND!

Kyle surprised Lauren on Christmas Eve and proposed to her surrounded by their family. Kyle had decorated a wooden pallet with string lights that said “Marry Me?”. Even through her shock and excitement, Lauren of course said YES!! This was what she had been waiting for since she was 12 years old! They are so excited for wedding planning and are stoked to start their new life together.

I am so honored to document their Great Love Story. We may have accidentally planned their engagement session the weekend of Azalea Festival but it actually turned out to be perfect. Everyone was oohing and ahhing over how gorgeous Lauren was and congratulating them on their engagement. The Azalea Festival Queen had nothing on these two. When then headed down to Wrightsville Beach to watch the sunset over the sound as they danced in the sand. I can not wait for their wedding next year!
Congratulations again love bugs!

xoxo
